Mode and Seek buttons not working on steering wheel

Mode and Seek buttons not working on steering wheel
Hello all.
I am new to this. I am trying to learn the ropes with my '05 Lexus. Love my car....but I have a "MODE" and "SEEK" button that do not work on my steering wheel. They are operable on the radio itself but not from the steering wheel.
The other buttons located on the same side, "volume +/-" are working. Can anyone tell me if this is a fuse or something in the dash?
