Question Battery.. Starter... Starter solenoid???

Hello to all the talented people on our lexus forum!! Im back again... I have a 2001 ES300 Coach edition.. I love my car!!! This is the problem im having. Everything was fine then i get in my car a week ago.. I try to start and just hear clicking.. Waited a few seconds and car started fine. A few days ago my check engine light came on after having a lag in starting.. Now yesterday im driving everywhere car starting fine but i notice my lights are kinda dimming when ac comes on. Stopped got gas .. got in car.. noticed a little lag in starting no clicking and then battery light came on and then went off after a couple minutes. Now i get up this morning car wont start at all... just clicking .. no radio.. checked terminals theyre tight. Continues clicking seems to be making battery go lower.. Any suggestions would help.. Is there a way i can test if battery dead? Should i try to jumpstart car? Will The car still make clicking noise if battery is dying? Sorry for so much info.. just want my baby to be ok. And does someone know where starter is at? I hear tapping would let you know? Thanks again.

you can go to any kragen, pep boys, or auto zone and im sure they would be happy to do a battery test on your car. sometimes the batteries have dates stamped on them when they were installed. it could be also an alternator problem. i believe they will be able to test the car with a load on it, and help you pin point the problem very fast!

Just worked on a older camry with a v6 that had similar issues, where the battery light would turn on and then go off. we found his drive belts were half chewed up from age and were slightly loose plus it had rained the previous day making the belts slip causing the battery light to come on/off at times. we replaced the belts and new battery car hasnt come back customer happy.
