Question Suspension Question

I have noticed that the gap between the top of my RR tire to the top of the wheel well is less then the rest of the tires gap. I can fit 3 fingers in the gap of every other tire but I can only fit 2 fingers in the gap of my RR tire. Is this an indication that my Right Rear Strut is going or on it's way out?

It sounds like it could be, when was the last time you ever replaced your struts? how old is the car?

Two things could happen:

1) rubber parts are wearing out in that particular area
2) the spring is sagging

The strut/shock does not hold up the car so even if it was totally worn out, the ride height will still be the same.

Yep, springs affect the ride height; the "shock" shouldn't affect the height, only the shock absorbing properties.

Thanks for the reply guys, I appreciate it.

1. Is there any way I can methodically inspect the rubber pieces or would it be worth it to replace the whole rear suspension since i'll have to remove the back seat and all corresponding pieces just to take a look at everything?

2. Do either of you have or know of a DIY guide, tutorial, or step by step instructions for replacing the rear suspension components?

3. Can you help me put together a parts list?

Thanks,
Ryan

Can someone please point out the rubber parts that GSteg is referring to for both the front and rear suspension? Here are the two diagrams:
