Need your thoughts and opinions. Close to purchase.
Hi. I haven't posted in a while but I'm looking at a '99 ES 300 and thought I'd get some opinions on what members thought. Here are the facts: 115k miles, have the service records since 50k. Brakes were done 500 miles ago. Michelin tires have 2k miles. The timing belt, water pump, thermostat and ignition coils will be changed tomorrow. The paint and panels are original but there are nicks on bumper and it has one scrape on lower passenger panel. The interior is in very good condition, showing only slight wear on drivers seat. Price is $5800 from a customer of my mechanic. Any thoughts or comments are welcome. Thanks.

This seems like a good deal to me.
Brakes, tires, timing belt, water pump, thermostat and ignition coil service can be pretty pricey and it looks like you have a trustworthy mechanic. Most people ditch the car before they get the major service so its nice to get it beforehand.
