The GROM iPod adapter is normally installed at the CD changer port in the back of the head unit. I noticed that the vehicle-specifc cable has both a male and female plug, however. Does this mean I can install it in the armrest box in place of the cd changer, using the female plug at the end of the cable that currently is plugged into the cd changer?
Best regards,
Nick

UPDATE:
Looks like the answer is a negative. The male cable going into the CD changer is totally different than the female head on the GROM cable. Besides that, looks like both cable heads on the GROM need to be plugged into the back of the stereo. Maybe with a different cable adapter...?
