ES330 Backup camera w/ STOCK NAVI
Hey Guys,
Anyone heard of this? I'd love to use my navi and attach a rearview camera, ofcourse, if its possible. Anyone else thought of doing this?

If the 330's nav has a video input and you can find some module which would initiate the cam when the cars in reverse (prob gonna have to tap into the reverse wire) you ought to be able to. But I'm gonna guess it's not PnP, it'll probably require some pretty extensive work. If you're really set on it then you'd be better off getting some aftermarket nav. But I hope I'm wrong cause I fully appreciate retaining stock nav setups, and backup cams are cool (although not really necessary in ES's, more of a requirement in cars like the RX with limited rear visibility). - Good luck

Any OEM nav that does not come stock with a backup camera feature it is not possible. Even if there was a way it would be so expensive and complicated that it simply wouldnt be worth it.
So unfortunately the answer is no it will not be possible. As mentioned above though it would be pretty simple to add an aftermarket nav that is capable of have that feature. Yes you lose the OEM integration of the original nav but thats a tradeoff.

Please visit http://www.navvideo.com/navvideo-mod...rgb_toylex.asp . This company has an interface module that will open up a whole new world of audio/video options while retaining your stock unit at a fair price
Here is a pic of a RX Navigation (same as ES) with a DVD playing, which means the video input (what you would use for your camera) works fine.
Good luck
