Hey Guys

I'm new here and I just bought a 1992 ES300. Does anybody know what this black type **** that is located in front of my headlights. I figured it was a washer that sprays liquid to the lights but I can't find the switch that switches it on. i am lost here and if possible is there a way tor remove it. Here is a pic of it.






I also like to say that this is the best Lexus forum on the net. I learned alot of things that I could do with my ES300 that I though was not possible. Thanks Club Lexus

It's a headlight sprayer like you said. I don't think it came on 92's though. The bumber might have been changed and replaced with a european bumber or aftermarket one and that's why it's there. I doubt you have a switch for it. You sure your regular wiper switch does not work it ? That was on cars in Europe but not in America back in 92. Is it part of the bumber cause it might have been just glued on there for show?

Oh wait, your in Canada so maybe it did come.

interesting, so for american es300, what year did they start to puting it on? I live in Canada, do you think that the 1992 Canadian and European models would be the same?

America has not done it as of yet. Canada might have though just like Europe but I am not sure.
I would check with a Lexus dealership near you. I don't know the Canadian Specs for models.

those are headlight washers. my manual says that in canada, they add those on. there should be a button right next to your mirror control buttons to the left of your steering wheel...
