when i bought my 92 es back in jan 98 it had 77k on it and when i blew the motor, it was at 227k that was in july of 2001. i didn't take very good care of my car way back when i was 20, all i did was change oil every 3-5k miles, if you call that taking care. considering the abuse i put the car through i was lucky keep it that long.funny thing is when it finally broke down(busted hose while sitting in traffic)i drove 25 miles with little to no water in the car before it cut off on me(it didn't show it was overheating until i was a 1/2 mile from my house. i think that care would have made it to 350k+ if taken better care of!!

Up to 123,000 miles now for a 98 es300.
Pretty much only maintenance stuff:
Front & rear Brakes changed out 2X ( Rear Rotors 1X, Bleed brakes 1x)
Timinig belt (1x)
Radiator flush (2 x)
Struts/strutmount (all 4 1x)
Plugs (2x)
Stuff that recently had to fix:
Valve cover gaskets (rear was leaking I think it killed my o2 sensor)
IAG valve (rough starts)
A/F sensor ( I think the oil leak killed it Still drives great, but Check engine light is drving me crazy)
Pretty much trouble free other than that, not bad for an almost 10 year old car, runs great!

Driving back and forth fron NorCal will get you those miles quickly.
Hope you can get another 186K miles on it and get to 500K.
I am currently at 240K miles right now. Only that is bothering me is the oil leak!

Thanks! Just got back from SoCal this evening and tired as heck. I just hit 315K miles. Also Lexus gave me a $250 voucher for dealer service. I got in contact with Lexus Corporate and they acknowledged my high mileage ES 300. That was real nice if them...

297,000km (184m) on my 93 ES300 and she running still running strong.
Everytime her heart miss a beat, she goes straight on the hoist in my uncle's garage for a check up.
problems encountered/fixed - head gasket / brakes / shockers / cruise control
generic problems - dying needles / faded leather seats / headlighs (redone - cleared) / Cd stacker playing up.
