I am at 310,000 km (200,000 miles) on my 97 ES300.

Overall very good....only small minor stuff such as EGR position sensor and wear & tear parts.

I had 205,000 on my 92 ES when I sold it; never needed major work, I think a valve cover gasket was the biggest thing I did in 75,000 miles. Car was still solid, no interior rattles or anything like that.

My positive experience with the ES led me back to Lexus this year after being away for a while; my GS4 has not let me down. Can't beat the Lexus quality and reliability!

109,xxx still feels like its got more ***** than most 3.0's
Only thing is can sound windy when driving so I might need to get the rubber seal replaced, wind noise isn't even bad.

1996 ES300
Just turned 125,000 last week.
Noisy suspension being bandaided with silicone spray.
Other than that, it's holding up good.

Default 203.5K But that's not one of the poll options

Bought a '93 ES300 for the wife last weekend with 203K. After lurking around your forum this week...

I think I'll keep her.

99 ES300 With 200,xxx miles and counting. This car still will haul a$$ and still gets 29 mpg on the interstate! After looking around in our small college town, where most 95 Accords were going for $5000, and kicked the tires on a scuffed up 98 Camry for $5500, we drove to Dallas about 5 hrs away and picked up a garage kept high mileage ES that appears as it were new inside and out and only needs some strut mounts and sway bushings to be a quiet smooth car again. Oh yeah, we got it for $4990 too... What a deal, these things go for nearly twice that around our town and we could probly sell it right now and make $1500 easy.

$5k at 200,000 miles?

I bought my 1997 at 43,000 miles for $8900. Was a grandma's car that passed away.

Just about to turn over 53,000 miles, runs excellent.

at 176,xxx on my 97 ES300. I'm dreading my next maintenance schedule - the dreaded 180,000 service where both spark plugs, timing belt and other things need to be changed. My mechanic (Yarnell's in Mountain View - one of the most highly rated places in the SF Bay Area for the past 20 years) will charge around $800 for all of this.

Default Miles

My wifes 1995 ES300 has 175,000. This past week I replaced the power steering pump, crank oil seal and timing belt. I figure it's good for another 175K.

Looking at the random replies [yes i know old thread!]

Leads me to believe a lot of people on here have a hell of a sort commute, or dont drive that much.

Btw, 2001 with 103k miles!

I noticed on page 13? there was a listing for an Es300 with 235k miles... Anyways my friends shop has seen a couple of 97-01 gen. Es300's with ~350k miles on them!

That proves to me the longevity of these cars, and their superior build quality! I hope to be in a Lexus for a long time!

That was probably me. I just got back from Las Vegas today and I just hit 351,000 miles...

Your Lexus will definitely last you a long time. Take good care of her and she'll take good care of you...
