TRD does have a supercharger for the 1MZ-FE BUT......!!! its only made for the Camry XLE V6.....The ECU on the ES300 is different and wont work right with the boost control....OH well

Been there and done that with my 97 ES300....I finally said F-it and bought a G35 coupe...Besides the ES300 lacks the aftermarket products and handling to be a real speedy vehicle...

BTW: I got 70,300 on my 97

Is it possible to switch the entire ECU harness out of a 1MZ-FE camry into the ES300 to make the supercharger project a reality?

A supercharged ES300 sounds a-pretty cool, nothing I would ever do though. $5,000 is simply too much, plus a supercharger might just compromise the luxury aspect of the car....

Nah you cant switch ECU's.....besides the ES300 has only a full auto.....even if you could supercharge it ...it would never hold a gear long enough to really get a MEAN run....if it had even a tiptronic that could let you take it to red line in each gear or close to it to get the full HP and torque curve out of it , that would be good.........

But what a sleeper that would be, even supercharged the way it is.....It would shock the hell outta a lot of people......just the look on thier faces would be enough..

The ES would be at about 285HP with the TRD supercharger. I'm not sure of the TQ.

Picked up my first Lexus a few days ago. 1996 ES300 champagne & silver. 92,500 miles and runs flawlessly. This car is in excellent shape. BTW great site. I've noticed a few of you are from Arkansas. Anyone close to Fayetteville?

I just hit 200,000 miles on my ES last Saturday May 8th, 2004 and I know I can go another 200,000 miles easy. I want to post a picture but I am having a hard time. In the Attach file section the maximum size is 102,400 bytes and the picture I want to post is much bigger, how am I able to post a picture? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I was able to attach the picture with Doug's help and thanks so much, after a couple of tries I was able to insert the picture but as you can see it is way too tiny. How do I enlarge it? Hope I'm not asking too many questions. I also inserted a link so you can see a larger picture. Please be patient, I'm learning and I'm having fun as well.
