Exclamation 3ES Check Engine Light

Alright, have not been really active lately here, but there is something wrong with her. So one day the check engine light came on, so I was like lets reset ECU to see if it come back on, it did not, until after like 400 miles or less miles, my check engine lite came back on. But I have noticed a problem with my es for a while now, I did not think much of it, but I should have. When my car idles at times, when it drops below that tick right below the 1K tick, my car will try to rev it self to get it back up to that tick (the needle will go up and down not a lot but go above the tick and below it), and my car will shake and feel like I am in a manual rocking forward and backward. If I can I will get video so it explains itself better. do you guys have any idea or anyone had this issue? I ordered an OBDII reader, so waiting till it comes in, and I will see what codes come up.

From the sounds of it. I am leaning towards the Idle Control Valve. Cause I had the same idling issue and just needed to clean that out. But I did not have a check engine light with that problem so that makes me a bit worried.. Instructions here to clean that out (all free no need for parts)...

But it would be best to scan the car and see what is going on. Hopefully nothing major.

LOL i came out with a reading P0402 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow (EGR) Excessive Detected)

Causes

A code P0402 most likely means one or more of the following has happened:

* The DPFE (differential pressure) sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
* There is a blockage in the EGR (most likely carbon buildup)
* The EGR valve is faulty
* The EGR valve may not be opening due to a lack of vaccuum

Possible Solutions

With a P0402, it is common for people to replace the EGR valve, only to have the problem return. The most likely solution is to replace the DPFE sensor.

* Check the voltage at the DPFE sensor both at idle and when the EGR is open
* Replace the DPFE sensor

So now what? would cleaning idle control valve help it? and i guess i can seafoam, since i need oil change also
