Trunk lid bulb goes out but when I tap the trunk it comes back on? *Pic*
*Please view the attached file to show which bulb I am talking about*
The trunk lid bulb occaisionally goes out (usually after closing the trunk lid) but when I tap the trunk it comes back on... of course when the light goes out the indicator on the dash comes on until I tap the trunk making the light come back on.
I got the trunk liner off, I'm going to try replacing the bulb first but I'm not sure how it comes out.. Can anyone walk me through this? Im so embarrassed that I can't figure this out lol

I'm a moron the lights just turn to "unlock" them from the light assembly then the bulb just pulls out from the harness however I don't think it's the bulb because the filament is still intact.
Anyone know what else the problem could be?

Update: I gently bent the prongs out and reinstalled the bulb and that seems to have solved the problem. At first I didn't realize that the prongs were able to be bent outwards... I thought they were fastened to glass bulb when they were manufactured. I should probably get some new bulbs but for now this works... thanks Maxx941.
