Diy LED Mirrow Turn Signals

In addition to this DIY, i was able to finally do my shark racing LED arrow behind my sideview mirror (have been sitting for a year), only was able to do LH sidemirror, because at a prior repair, the jackals glued my RH sidemirror assembly to the side of the car, so i am unable to remove...
but here are some pictures of the process...
Side mirror removed to access controls and wires...
Carefully removed the mirror enclousure/clamp from the mirror itself, exposing heating sheet... where i slightly peeled the left hand side to apply shark racing led arrow
before installation (used some of that white sticky substance... please help me out with the name, i am interested in purchasing...)
left in the hot sun for about 5 mins to allow adhesive to rebond
before placing in mirror enclosure/housing plate...
Finished product
now all i have to do is wire it to the turn signal wiring, can't find it for all it's worth :-(

just want to see how it holds out so far for this mod? any would have done it differently thought?
I am trying to see if this DIY can be done on 2011 Sienna (probably not white LED but more like the traditional orange)

It can be done to any car. LEDs aren't very obtrusive and you can always flush mount them if needed. Simply drilling into the housing makes it so you don't have to build a board from scratch so its very space saving. Assuming you wire them up properly with the right resistors, you can epoxy them to hold out moisture and prevent the points from separating

Hey guys sorry for the extremely long delay but I'm happy to tell you all that but 6 months, and a long, cold, and extremely snowy minnesota winter and they are holding up GREAT! absolutely no issues

well it definitely looks really clean, but u need to match up the color to the corners' and hls'
just replaced with led strips on mine, but ordered wrong single color, though

well my headlights are factory HID so i don't really feel the need to change the color but maybe this summer i'll buy some 5 or 6k hid bulbs to pop those in. Wouldn't changing the corner bulb to white look odd?
Also has anyone else given this a shot? It looks great, is cheap, relatively easy, and there are many different ways you could place the LED's for your own style.

not modified, think he got it off ebay, even though, its possible to remove that amber if you do pop it in the oven to clear it

its been a WHILE since i've been here on the thread... I was actually interested, in finding out where the turn signal wire is located... therefore i can connect my side led's and see if it works... so far i've got the left side (driver) installed but the passenger is ****ed due to when i got hit on the side, and they've glued the mirror to the frame, so i gotta pry that off w/o damaging... but one at a time... so if you can, can u tell me where the location of the turn signal circuit is, so that i can connect it
