14. Red indicator/warning sticker on front passenger door lock fell off.

Today my interior light quit working....can't be the bulb, since i replaced that just a couple months ago, maybe a bad connection of some kind. Also noticed that the red door lock indicator sticker on the passenger door handle peeled off. Also, the leather on my back seats look like ****. The fronts are decent, but far from perfect. Oh well, very superficial problems, ES still rules

- rattling moonroof when the cover is open but not the moonroof

Mine is 139,000. 60,000 when I bought it in 99'
I be traveling with it every year. Another problem I forgot to add was the light illumination on radio buttons are burnt out too.

Did you guys buy your Lex at a Lex dealer or Independent dealer? I got mine at the Lex dealer but it wasn't certified pre-owned, since it had too much mileage.

1996 ES300 Coach ED 78K
1. Stupid seatbelt cover pannel things on passenger and driver side front fell out...(in process of getting new clips)
2. Passenger side door handle cracked.
3. Wood cracked below shifter
4. 5-10 door dings/ scratches
5. Leather old and worn out.
6. Driver seat goes to one side (like the others)
7. Cup holder wouldnt come out. (fixed)
8. Wood trim on front doors looks like crap. (back doors looks original)

- Most are just visible. The engine runz like a top. NO hesitation, well there was. This 2 second thing when you floored it. I fixed that up tho. Gunna get the windows tinted and hopefully it hails soon so I can get some more dings....then I can finally take the car in and have em ALL taken out. New paint in a little bit..

I think they just said a chance of hail tonight. I've thought about that too, I've got a few little dings in the hood I wouldn't mind getting fixed on the insurance companies tab. Otherwise I'll probably wait until winter when I won't be driving the car anyway.

hail tonight? I didnt think it was supposed to storm..hummm haha I got hit by some hail the other day when it stormed like all day, got like 2 inches of rain. I went home and checked but there were no new dings.... : / haha youve got the idea about the insurace company man

My 95 has:

burnt out ashtray bulb
burnt out speed needle
passenger door exterior rod handle dissconnected (courtesy of nissan motors)

Only major problem my rides had since 95 is an o2 sensor replacement

1994 with 150,000 miles - Had it for the last 15,000 miles
1. Valve Cover Gaskets Replaced
2. Front & Rear Suspension replaced
3. Torn Intake Hose (replaced)
4. Speedometer, Fuel Needles dying
5. Squeaky Brakes
6. Driver Seat needs to be re-sewn - it has a tear in the seam
7. Cigarette lighter popped out- gotta hold it in to get hot
8. Seatbelt clip on driver side
9. A/C button isnt illuminated at night
10. Needs new motor mounts
11. Check Engine light is on because EGR valve flow is insufficient (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
12. Driver's Side door panel is kinda loose at the bottom and makes nasty noise when door is closed
13. Transmission Fluid Flush

Car is in good shape for 150,000 miles though. Still runs fine and looks good.

98 ES with like 44/45k miles on it....all ive had is my charcoal canister went bad and i had to pay a smooth 620 to get a new one....this just happened a like a week and a half ago

I have a 93 ES with 120,000 miles.

This is the recent catalog of things I have replaced:

both front half shafts
upper and lower motor mounts
rear right window actuator
hood struts
rack and pinion steering
rear brake pads
air conditioning compressor twice!
right rear wheel bearing
antennea mast
valve cover gaskets
tires
spark plugs


Things I need to fix:

struts all the way around
left rear door lock actuator
right rear door courtesy light switch
front rotors
timing belt with cam seals



So far this car has cost me quite alot! So much for Lexus reliability......

already change 3 battery by the dealer
new alternater (38K)
both side door piller ( the thing goes on between your window. the black thing)
cd changer show error so they replace anther one 15K
upper control arm brushing change 30K
Cigarette lighter don't work so they have to replace twice, but now it's not working again ( non smoker)
seat belt change (because it won't go back) 15K

this remind me of all the bad thing...........
