Talking I wanna drop my es

I have a 01 coach es n I'm thinking about lowering... I don't wanna go to low. I'm thinking maybe 1.5f 1.0r drop.. She's sittin in 17in dished wheels so I need a nice drop to compliment the wheels n tighten up the ride a Lil.. Let me know what springs you guys have for those that lowered your cars n how it rides... Thanks

If you aren't sure how low you want to go, coilovers might be best for you. That way, you can set the height and camber exactly how you want it.

I really hope you aren't in NYC. The roads there are crazy...

but springs are nice, coils are better

I shall tease you with a picture of a very low Camry on coilovers lol. SLAM that ES

+1 for coilovers, they allow you to adjust the height of the car anytime you want and you can adjust how soft or stiff it rides. If you get new lowered springs, your going to have to get new struts and the cost for both is 2-3 hundred less for coilovers. The way I look at it, for 2-3 hundred more you can get coilovers that allow you to do more than just springs and struts. Good luck in your decision bro.

I curb cheat in my pics too :P... Anyway I agree with coilovers..

btw slamming a camry/es/solara to the ground is a pain because of how low the undercarriage hangs.

If I didn't use the wood in that picture, my TRD exhaust would be in pieces by now

To be honest, the pain depends on your muffler too. I usually scrape my muffler/midpipe first before the chassis. In fact, my midpipe/flange is what sparks on bad roads for me

If you were really low you'd know not to head into a driveway straight on.

The 97-01 ES is the easiest to lower because you can use same year Camry suspension as well as Solara suspension. The exhaust does hang pretty low though.
