i finally saved enough to drop my car, but now after looking at the parts and talking to people im worried. my es has AVS, and people have told me if i don;t use the electronic struts, i will get a blinking trac/abs light on the dash. also that AVS is hooked up to the traction control and it can lead to problems if its not in use. so basically i need to know if anyone with AVS used non AVS struts in there es? any problems if so? thanks in advance.

you should have no problems at all. I installed aftermarket shocks and 3 different sets of coilovers on my car that had AVS with no problems and no lights going off. I've driven the car for close to 100k w/o the AVS struts so you should be fine.
