I have an 02 ES300, and bought 05 ES330 tails. The original brakelight is a bulb, and the new taillights have leds built into the housing of the taillight. How do I connect my wiring, to the new led taillight connection? I need some sort of connector or adaptor I would assume, but can't seem to find any info on it.

The 05-06 do not have LEDS in the tails. They will bolt right up. You will most likely need the newer harness as well.

You must have bought aftermarket taillights. If they have LED's, they are not Lexus.

Is the 05-06 harness the same as the 02-04? Here's what I think my options are... Buy the harness for the later model es, and put it in my es, because (I'm assuming) the 05-06 has a connection that'll fit the led plug from my taillights. Or I could just find the type of connection the led plug needs, and splice my current harness, and add the connection piece. Or maybe I could just splice the led and harness wires. Any thoughts?

Btw, here's a pic of the plug coming out of my tail for the leds.

That looks nothing like the OEM 2005-2006 Taillights I just put on my 2002 ES.

The harness that comes with the 2005-06 model is different in terms of the bulb sockets, but they actual harness that clicks into the car's wiring fits just fine.

Judging by the picture I would say your gonna have to splice and wire up the LED taillights. But you may need to get load resistors if you get a warning in the gauge cluster.
