will IS300 radio fit into 94' ES300... urgent
Does anyone know if IS300 radio will fit into and work with 1994 ES300 model. Please let me know asap... Do I only need to worry about dimensions, or is their more... The IS is nice because of the in dash 6 cd changer... like the Acura TL

Itll prolly work but youll have to do a lot of modifications to it though. LIke hook up the XM Radio crap and find a way to work the in dash but good luck i dunno if itll work or not but anything is possible as long as you have the money.

It's a nice unit, with RDS (Radio Data Service) and a 6-disc changer. It does light up bright orange, like the rest of the IS300 does at night. As far as I know, it does not have XM (perhaps you confused the Radio Data Service which displays station call letters and format information with it.)
I'm pretty familiar with the unit, as I have a relative with an '01 IS. The IS300 uses a 6-speaker setup (front doors, rear deck, tweeters), vs the 8-speakers (front doors, dash, tweeters, rear deck) in the the '94 ES. That right there means the harness to the amp is probably different. If you know what you're up against, you could probably fabricate an adapter, and if you don't mind the bright orange against the green. One last word of caution: I'm not sure if the unit is physically the same size as the ES unit. That's been an issue that's come up when people looked into putting Nakamichi head units from older LS400's into older ES300's.
Hope this information is of some help.

Try getting a 2002 cd changer from an es installed in yours, probably would fit better
Or get an aftermarket Diamond radio/cd changer... They replaced the nak series and now call it diamond. in dash cd changers
