Hello CL, I have been thinking of getting an exhaust on my 2nd gen es but I dont know which exhaust would fit or if there are any for this gen. Anyone have any suggestions? Also if anyone does have an exhaust on the 2nd gen es, can I see some pictures? Thanks

This is if you have a 94-96 es300 1mz-fe .Info below doesn't apply for the 92/93 3vz-fe
Start by using :
OBX Racing headers and y-pipe for the 99-03 Solara or 97-01 Camry v6 $350 roughly(eBay) .

or
Tuning Pros headers and y-pipe 99-03 Solara or 97-01 Camry v6 $190 roughly(eBay) .
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...Q5fAccessories
Then do a full exhaust after the y-pipe with a 2.5 inch piping with a resonator and a decent muffler of you choice.Note that the OBX Racing or Tuning Pros headers will delete you catalytic converter.

In case your question might be about a replacement stock exhaust, as opposed to a performance upgrade, my '93 ES300 came to me with a Midas supplied front pipe and Cat, and some kind of aftermarket mid pipe and muffler. I replaced the intermediate pipe and muffler with Bosal. Sadly, frustratingly, the sound is not what I was looking for (quiet). It's too aggresive and rumbly. I put a Walker muffler on my '96 Camry, with all Bosal front pipe and intermediate, and it is so quiet that I can hardly tell the engine is running at idle. Not sure if Walker makes a muffler for a '93 Lexus, but if it's quiet you seek, check out their line. I'll have to wait now until the Bosal wears out to justifly changing it again....which with the quality of today's aftermarket stuff prolly won't be more than a few years.

1. Make sure whatever you buy, especially if purchasing online is CA emissions compatible.
2. Stay away from low end aftermarket parts. In my case an Eastern Catalytic Y pipe (the cat is part of it) that caused a check engine light for bad cat. (I forget the exact code #) It was 1 month after warranty expired. Car runs fine, but that light is annoying and I'll have to clear it for inspection.
Good luck
