gas leaking from fuel line under hood by hpf hose?

gas leaking from fuel line under hood by hpf hose?
hey..new to site...
the leak made a small puddle on my transmission located directly under the hose from fuel filter..
i touched the line on the outer hose thats protects it i pulled it back and it dripped from it ..
but where is it leaking from?
i never turned car on since leak,(of course i know this is very dangerous).
had car for about 8 months...bought from my friend...was my friends car but the car sat for 1 year and a half unused before me purchasing it......
so i"ve had a few hose issues already only coolant though...
any help?
