Hello all.
Its nice to be back in this forum.
I recently purchased a 1997 Lexus ES300 in Indonesia and also ordered the 2000 Taillight from USA. Just wondering what is the similarity between this gen 3 lexus and toyota camry?
The car however was an ex embassy car so an ES300 is a rare car here.
I found it in good reasonable condition but needs some work as below

1. Needs rear brakes and rotors
2. Front left shock upper rubber.
3. I have a problem with jerky shifting. The car still shifts up and down as per normal but not as smooth (any problems?)

I have just changed the rear shocks, the ac compressor and drier also oil changes (The car has 72000 kilometers)

I am familiar with my old 2004 ES330 in the US and it has been a solid performer car. I wonder whether what other maintainance that i should be doing to this car. The car has been "regularly" serviced but i am sure the car perhaps needs some preventive maintainance.
