...while i dropped car at mechanic he took a quick look....he sprayed starting fluid or whatever it was...directly into intake manifold car ran fine even revved car high rpm all power was there......
when he stopped spraying in manifold it was acting up again..only thing he cant work on car till tomorrow....
just wanted to say that ,any ideas???

It could be a lot of different things, but usually if the car runs with starting fluid but stalls out without it, that usually indicates you have a fuel delivery problem.
At the most basic level, all engines need air, fuel, and spark. It looks like you got the air and spark, you just don't have the fuel to ignite it, which is why it only runs when you spray the starter fluid (aka fuel)

When is the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Are you getting the correct amount of fuel pressure? For the Legend is is like 34 or 36psi. Don't know what it is for the 2ES.
Check the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure from the pump, and injectors. It is most likely the FPR or filter though if it is indeed a fuel delivery problem.

thanks all ,i just got the call car is done,but i got work tonight so i will pick it up tomorrow morning,he said it had a few problems so i"ll let you guys know tomorrow...

ok.....here"s what it is....
i got a new fuel pump,fuel line,fuel filter,timing belt adjusted was off a lil ,(i seen all the parts new on car)
on the good side i never felt this car with this much power,i guess maybe timing was the main cause...
