Default Renewed my fog lights today

I've been doing a lot of little things to bring my recently purchased '98 ES back to "near new" lately and cleaned up my fog lights today. I used the 3M headlight kit and it worked great. Thought I'd share a few pictures.

It comes with a velcro sanding pad that attaches to a drill, 3 different grit sanding pads (1 for wet sanding), a foam polishing pad, and plastic polish.

Very nice. I may have to do this when the weather clears up.

Just cleaned up my headlights on weekend and planned to do my fogs this coming weekend.... Toothbrush and toothpaste... Works wonders!

No lies. Got told by a mate and didn't believe him, figured there was no harm in trying and whamo! clean headlights!

Saves buying an expensive headlight cleaning kit too

Yes. Its a polish for teeth, just as you'd buy for the paint.

Mind you its pretty abrasive for what it is when compared to some of the car stuff out there so take it easy.

So can I use a bigger brush for the toothpaste to clean the headlights? Just don't do it real rough 01lexpl? I'm going do it this weekend if its really that easy

I just used an old toothbrush and a like a non-scratch sponge type thing, with a lil bit of water too. Seems strange, but it does work! Did my headlights last weekend, plan to do the fogs this weekend

I've never done it myself... as i always sand them.

But a MF towel will suffice:
