Hello,

I'm a new member here from Auckland.

A month ago i purchased a 97 Lexus ES300 and want to know more about it.

I had Merc, BMW, Audi before went into a bankrupt but never had a Lexus in my

life. I guess last model 98 Toyota Supra i had was similar. Even though turning

into 14year old car it drives great and now i know why Lexus owners always end

up buy another Lexus.

So far my car has done 200,000Km which is around 124000Miles. Currently

window rubber seal is lose (can hear wind noises), valve clover gaskets are

leaking and oil pan gasket is leaking as well. I haven't seen any oils drip down on

the floor as yet. Any idea how much it will cost to repair these problems?

Also 98 GS wheel will fit onto ES? Gotta replace tires on my car and found set of GS wheels with tires for

good price.

Thanks and Merry Christmas~!

Welcome to Club Lexus and congratulations on getting an ES 300.

It would be cheaper if you purchased the parts yourself and have yourself or someone to install the gaskets. You can order the parts from Carson Toyota or Sewell Lexus and they should give you a Club Lexus discount.

When you get a chance please post some pictures of your 1997 ES 300.
