This is 6000K:

I currently have 4300k's in there since one of the above ballasts broke after 3 years of use

And im gonna be getting 6000k for my fogs. Yellow is so played out and gay.

just be prepared to get pulled over, due to any blue lights are illegal in most states. i paid nearly 700 for having blue lights and out of state license, my car got impounded 500 automatic fees, plus 170 storage/towing fees

i had smd true led blue, currently switched to regular bulbs matching drl's,
for the time being lol but remember that it is a fix it ticket so......

Are you referring to your corner lights like the ones you posted on the previous page? Because that's a pretty obvious ticket there. Having blue headlights is one thing (reduced visibility, glare, etc.), but signal lights? I believe they MUST be red/amber in all states for visibility reasons since it can become a safety issue if you are not visible to other drivers.

I already have 6000k in the low beams and they are perfect. They look white from inside the car and have a very very light blue hue to them on the outside

yes blue smd signals for corner and custom blue/amber side mirror, i had a switched rigged up to change colors, but its back to regular for the time being
check my profile pic

cop told me main reason he pulled me over for was "I was thinking about my daughter, cuz u look like the police with blue lights" which made no sense to me. obviously, some bs reason just to pull me over, had k-9 unit etc..drove me 15m to the nearest station to get processed

eventually u cant even have green either cuz i installed that in homies ride and he got complaints about it, but yeh blue or red in front is for emergency government affilated vehicles only supposedly
just kindve messed up my gray/blue theme up lol

^^ yeah, its pretty universal.

I'm surprised you got away with it as long as you did.

Blue/red - emergency vehicles
green - fire warden/volunteer fire fighters
Yellow/amber - tow trucks/snow plows.

Replacing the Fogs on my 05 was a cake walk. remove the skid plate and you can easily reach the lights. I have big hands too.
As far as the yellow with hidextra and most manufactures the yellow is not a true "yellow" they are 4300 or 5k bulbs (white) with yellow coating. I put the fogs and highs in on my car as this year car already has HID low beams. I did the 6k for the highs and they are not that blue, more of a crystal.

As far as going with yellow and it being played out i went with function. During blowing snow and ice fog during our winter and depending on where you are in the state the yellow cuts thru and increases visability. If those are not issues where you live I would go with 4300-5k for your fogs as well.

yeh only if u know what ive been through over the years, u give me a break too if u were in the officers' standing point http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...lies/frown.gif

So why in ny, as 01ES300NYC says "they dont care". I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. That incident happened with the county sheriff but burbs/city police dont really bother. Just a reason to get your car stopped and searched, thats all. But aren't emergency vehicles blue/red flashing in grill, on roof, rear window, white strobes in corner/tl. They use strobe/alternating type flashing, dont they?

I just installed piaa h3 yellow fogs, and while there hasn't been any fog, there is quite the change in light output, especially in the snow. it lights up all and more of more the HID's dont infront of the car as well as the sides of the road where ditches are ect. Yellow really is a great color for fog lights
