for new years me and some friends were planning on going to big bear. ive never been in the snow but we were going to take my 2003 es 300 and get some chains put on. do you think it will be able to safely make it up there? i have no idea how this car handles in snow.

There's no way I'd put chains on my car, I've seen some of the damage they can cause. Rent a car and tear it up.

rent a car. don't take the chance of screwing up a good car. I have a 04 es, the car does handle good in the snow with good snow tires. Don't take the es. Have a safe trip, have fun.
