ok. this has been happening for a while. we have an es300. occasionally, it doesn't start. i turn the key and it doesn't start. we thought this was a battery problem, but the battery is fresh. we let the car sit for a bit, then we try it again and sometimes it works. eventually it works. i can't wait for that. i was late for school cuz of this problem. could someone tell me why or how to deal with it? thanks a lot. oh. 1st post. yeh!!!

Here are a few other things to check out!
1) Fuse block area to make sure there are no blown or partially
blown fuses.
2) Starter solenoid located by fuse block. Make sure that it is
seated properly.
3) Your ES300 gearshift is properly in Park or Neutral (to test if it
might be a neutral safety switch.
4) Make sure battery ground cable is securely bolted to engine
chassis otherwise ground-fault conditions may cause car to
not start at times.
5) Ignition switch may be burned or pitted thus causing bad
contact upon starting.
Thats all I have at this time.
Scott.
