Default "New" ES 330 2005

So this is my third Lexus. I went from a 1993 es 300 (which I loved) to a 2007 IS250AWD which I liked, to my "new" 2005 ES 330. I owned my 07 for 3 + years and decided that I needed to cut my monthly bill in half and get something bigger.

I was hesitant to buy the car at first because of the horror stories i've read about the transmissions on these but I took the plunge. The car is certified with a 4 year/125k warranty currently and has 69k on the odometer. Came with xenons, sideview mirrors that flip down when going in reverse, mark levinson navi, heated and cooled seats, as well as rear sun shade and remote start. One thing is bothering me, I can't tell if the rims on the car are Lexus, infiniti, or aftermarket (i think they are lexus). I can't find an infiniti rim that looks like this thats 17 inches, and I can't find a lexus rim either that is 17 inches that looks like this maybe you guys can help me. any how here are a few pics I'll post more soon.

Your car is very similar to mine, similar equipment, although mine is light green with gray interior, but I don't have those rims. I'm pretty sure I've seen those rims available as an optional accessory from Lexus.

Very nice car.

Looks can be deceiving. Those rims 'appear' at first glance as similar to OEM rims.

But those in fact are Sport Editions, the infinti G37 replicas.

Dubsesd on the board had them on his IS250awd

I like them not sure If I'll keep them on the car, was considering the OEM 17 inch Chromes but we'll see. Thanks for the info LEXPL, and KLF I was confused too because I thought I saw these rims as an option as well, is it possible the dealer had them for sale in the showroom? I could have sworn I saw Konig after market wheels in the showrooms before so i wonder if its possible they had these at the time of original purchase.

Maybe you could contact the dealer that sold it new and see if they have any paperwork on it?

Looks great, it has everything going for it, year, color combo, options. I have to say even after the numerous cars i have driven and ridden in, the es has one of the best rides out there

I really like how Lexus refreshed the ES in 04 and really polished it in 05. Nice car you've got there.

thanks for the compliments guys, I think the only two things I want to change are get the front driver and passenger side window's tinted the same as the rear windows (had it like that in my IS250, and then the verdict is still out on these rims. They look good and they are definitely lighter but I don't know if I prefer the heavier feel of the chrome. I still have to adjust since the IS250awd is just a heavier car.

Or... he can just take one wheel off and look at the stamping.

This is my favorite generation of ES. Love the color combo. The wheels look good too.

Congralutions on getting an ES 300. The rims don't look like any OEM Lexus rims. I do believe the rims look like they came from an Infiniti G.

Thanks They look it but their aren't infiniti rims. Infiniti doesn't make a 17 inch rim for the G that looks anything close to these. As someone stated earlier they are aftermarket "sport edition" wheels my only question was whether they were offered at the dealership at time of purchase which i believe they were. Still trying to find out that info.
