ES 300 collant question (don't get it)
I figured I would post this twice to maybe expose it more. I can't seem to find an answer.
ok, I have a 1998 ES300 and I was wondering about the collant. The manual just says use only ETHYLENE GLYCOL (EG) which is green I believe but my car has red collant (ELC) in it.
I know you can not switch back and forth due to seal and pump issues so does toyota/ lexus make some sort of red collant but is EG?
Need some help

OVER TIME BEFORE YOU OWNED YOUR CAR PEOPLE COULD HAVE PUT WHAT IS CALLED DEX-COOL WHICH IS SPECIALLY MADE FOR GENERAL MOTOR CARS LIKE CADILLAC AND CHEVROLET. I SUGGEST GETTING A COOLANT FLUSH AND STICKING WITH REGULAR GREEN COOLANT. BUT I HAVE DEX-COOL BECAUSE IT IS SUPPOSE TO LAST MUCH LONGER THAN REGULAR COOLANT. WARNING DO NOT MIX DEX-COOL WITH REGULAR GREEN COOLANT IT WILL MESS UP YOUR WATER PUMP AND BLOW SOME FREEZE PLUGS.
