Yes, you can add an aftermarket sub and amp to the stock deck. I currently have a 10" Alpine Type-R sub and a JL Audio 500/1 amp hooked up and it sounds awesome! If you plan on keeping the stock deck, you will need a line-out converter to tap into the stock sub output.

Thats funny. Our second car is also a 94 Camry (LE). It has only 45.000 Miles. It was my Mom's car and she stopped driving the car last year at age 95.

My wife now drives it, and I use it during snow storms, when I like to keep my 01 ES300 nice and clean in our garage.

With 55k miles you should have any issues. My 01 just hit a 152k miles today and so far so good i have pictures on here some where with i thnik 147k miles on the car and still looks new

I have a 2000 ES300 with "yes", 282,000 miles and still rides like a champ! Put in a used transmission around 200,000 miles.
