You should get a dedicated set of wheels for summer and winter. That's what I plan to do in the future. Not only do you have to pay each time for mounting and balancing the tires, but you also risk damaging the beads from stretching the rubber.

Nemo outside Boston...
Quite a bit of drift around the cars. Subaru backed right out but what about the ES?
Will it pull out?
Yup, thank you to the X-ice tires, first time to really use them all season, but driving on the road is still banned...

NO snowblower?! That's gotta suck... It's too bad you don't have a garage to park it indoors
And curious how is there a 'ban on driving'? No one is allowed to drive on snowy roads? Wtf

Garage is circa 1930s its so short the cars barely fit so its not really worth it, clean off the cars or shovel the snow it has to get moved either way. I pull the cars in diagonal to work on them that is how small it is.
Yeah driving was banned all night in MA due to low visibility and so they can keep the roads clear it was a big blizzard. I don't think they give you too much trouble, I wasn't going to stay home if the wife was ready to have the baby. They are just about to lift it though. They haven't banned driving since the blizzard of '78 in MA so it is not often they do it. We got 27 inches of snow in about 12 hours.
