Sloshing sound in car 1996
I don't know if it is gas or not, its baffling me, because i never heard it. i have my back seats out, maybe the seats muffled it? i just filled up yesterday, so its pretty full. any ideas?

Check the spare tire well, as well as the smaller wells on each side of the trunk. Just to make sure that you don't have an accumulation of water in there.

well its not water, because just drove with 15 degree weather, and still heard it (water freezes, gas barely don't) so i guess i was right that its just the gas tank from no seat being there. relieved there is no leak though

A Fuel tank is not a hollow void. It contains several baffles, strategically placed and welded so as to eliminate fuel sloshing while the car is moving. If that was not the case, Fuel will be sloshing every time the car moves, and your Fuel gage will not be able to accurately indicate the amount of fuel left in the Tank. I suppose that, for whatever reason, it is possible that one or more baffles dislodged, allowing the fuel to slosh freely.
However notwithstanding your comment of the 15 Degree outside Temperature, you should still check for water penetration into the trunk as I suggested in my original reply to you. Should not take you longer than 5 Minutes to check. At least you will have eliminated that as a possible cause for the sloshing noise you hear. Finding water in the trunk is a lot more common than dislodged baffles, and is the lessor of the two evils.
Of course the sloshing sound that you hear could be totally unrelated and something else altogether. In which case you will need to pinpoint its origin more accurately.
