How to install front speakers in 1997 Lexus ES300
Hi there.,
The front speakers of my 1997 Lexus ES300 have been blown and I want to replace them. However, I don't know how to remove to door panel and replace the speakers. So could you please inform me the way on how to remove the front door panel and install the front speakers. I intent to buy Pioneer TS-G671M 6 1/2" 4-Way Speakers to replace my old blown speakers. Is it OK with Pioneer TS-G671M 6 1/2" ?
Thanks for your helps

There are two screws. One is in the inside door handle and one under the power window/door switch. You will need a small flat head screw driver and to pry open these parts. You will to get those two screws out and just stick a flat head screw driver between the door panel and door and pull it apart. These cars do come with a factory amplifier so when I did mines I just went ahead and rewired the whole car and threw in a aftermarket amp. I wouldn't run after market speakers with that amp that is already in there. You might take the chance of blowing your speakers after a while. Thats my opinion of the whole thing. Good luck

u forgot about the 10mm phillips screw under the tab on the right top side of door. kind've dont make sense about how the factory amp would blow the aftermarket speakers. i'm sure that if your upgrading then u get a higher wattage so u actually be underpowering it. so it depends on the wattage of your speakers. but i know that i had to bypass the amp when i installed my aftermarket radio so my speakers are powered by it.
