Going to get my front windows tinted and I got quoted an extra 100 bucks because of the tweeters? Anyone know how to take them off so I can save some cash?

 

wow they sound retarded, i believe its helded on by a 10mm, i find rolling window down making it easier, remove 2 phillip screws under window switch and handle, and 10mm phillips screw under tab on top right corner, use a long big flathead to pry around the door, going counter-clockwise, start a 9, just plastic yellow tabs holding the panel. once done, remove door panel by lifting upwards as there are metal clips on the top of it. moderatly easy to do, save yourself a 100 bux, ppl are idiots, these days with that price, good luck, any questions let me know, i might have to install my led strips again so ill take pix of the process if u need it

I just removed my door panel & tweeter [was fixing the mirror shell] in like 5 mins.

It's not hard, take the time go piece by piece looking for the bolts. And yeah its just a 10mm bolt, unclip harness, remove.

some addt'l ones modded to the door light, i had some before but removed it, kindve like a puddle light, gr8 touch to my theme, major blizzard coming later today so i dont think ill be able to do it anytime soon
