Default dome light removal 94 es300
I want to replace my dome lights with LED's but I can't figure out how to remove the dome light cover, housing, etc.
It's really cold here and I don't want to break something by prying in the wrong place. Thanks

The one in my 92 will pry off by hand. Seems like it's just a few clips holding it in place. I assume it would be the same for a 94.

I should add - I've had to pry mine off a couple of times and I always start on the edge closest to the sunroof. It usually just pops right off with very little force.

Does the entire housing come off or just the clear lens?

The entire face pops off - lens and butons. After that, I believe the rest of the unit is held in place by a screw or two.
