Ok, intake accordion tube seems to have a small leak/crack (very very small are these cars really that touchy?) where the hose goes from the front valve cover to the intake tube.

Found this on CL http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pts/2200122055.html and want to put a shiny chrome thingy in my engine bay for ****s and giggles....

My question is can I delete that hose that is giving me problems and just put a little breather filter on the valve cover and make sure that I do use the hose coming off of that intake for the air bypass hose to the IAC I should be perfectly fine right??

I know it won't add 50 horsepower but as long as I get 48 - 49 horsepower more with my ghettofabulous Lexus I'll be content...
