Default Is300 wheels on an es300

I found some original lexus used mags from a 2001 is300 they are 17". They come with 215/50/17 tires.

Will these wheels and tires fit my 2001 ES300 without modifications., (No spacers). My current wheels are the original Lexus 16"

Thanks

Phil

Wow, I was hoping they will be a direct fit. I guess it's not happening, so I'll forget about them and look for others

Thanks

If you really want IS300 wheels, the company 'eagle alloy' made a wheel that is an almost identical replica of this rim, except with proper offsets [a 17x7 with ET 38]. Not sure if they're still around or not as they can be discontinued...

It's not that I was particularly looking for IS300 wheels, it's just that I am looking at replacing my original 16" OEM wheels, that are peeling badly.

The is300 wheels being sold locally are in good shape, and the guy is selling 5 of them, including tires, for $400. I would have bought them, but seems to be too much trouble in terms of fit.

My preference really are the 16" OEM Lexus wheels in good shape, but they are impossible to find. So for now I'll just keep on looking.

^^ the 16" make great winter wheels. if they peel, who cares?

You wouldn't want to see mine... lol I dropped the hell out of them this fall while cleaning them and pretty much put a nice 4" long scratch/gouge into one rim...

i picked up some Pontiac vibe wheels in 17s and fit perfect. they kinda look like the is300 wheels but i like them better because it seems like a lot of people put the is300 wheels on there es300s and i wanted to do something a little different. i picked up the wheels for 100 bucks used but in perfect condition. they are polished face with silver background.
