if you want exactly a 2" drop then I would get coils, so you can adjust it to what want, but if you want to get something close then maybe some springs will help, just my 2 cent

Cheaper coilovers will run about $900-$1k. But like DixonPai said, coils will be the best way to drop it exactly 2" and they're fully adjustable.

I also agree with the coilover, especially if your going to lower it with the OEM 15 inch rims and tires. Coilovers are adjustable. If you lower it using just springs, theirs a potential that you will have problems with the OEM setup of rims and tires, or if you upgrade your rims and tires. Most peeps get the bigger rims and low profile tires first, then lower it. Also, remember, coilovers start at around $1,000 dollars, but you have to factor in the cost if your going to have someone install them. If your mechanically inclined, you can install them your self, but will take a whole day to them. The front will be easy, but the back is time consuming, you will have to remove the rear seat and back deck.

Just dont lower your car? Im not a big fan of lowering or doing any mods to our es's just do basic maintance and mod the car for a million miles, that is one serious mod. These cars jsut dont look good at all with any mods, weather rims, lower, intake, exhaust, these cars are just not made for any of that and its hard to have them look remotly good at all with any mods at all. Just save your money man. The only mod I will ever have will be a passport laser jammer so I wont get any tickets lol but dont lower your car

Are you keeping your car?

I thought that you were going to sell it after your recent accident.

While I agree that one of the best 'mods' for your car is taking care of it and doing the routine maintenance, it's boring (at least for me) to just drive it stock and look like every other grandma on the road. I like my car to stand out, if even just a little bit.

Just take a few minutes and surf through this thread...

A stock car is fine and maintaince is a must. That doesnt mean that you can't have the best of both worlds. Modifying your car makes it unique and yours. Stock is great but making it unique is better.
