New Owner of 94 ES300
Hello All,
I recently purchased a 94 ES300 with 173XXX miles. Its in great shape, but there are a couple of quirks I am trying to work out. Firstly, the light bulb indicator comes on the first time you tap the brakes, yet all brakes lights are working. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Im assuming a short, but no idea where to look.
Secondly, it seems that when the climate control is set to AUTO, even at the hottest setting, the AC is turned on. Obviously for the sake of heat and gas mileage, this is less then ideal. Could this be the solar sensor? Or something else?
Thanks all, and I look forward to spending some time here.
Heres a picture. So far loving the car.

1st off congrats and welcome!!..
but..are yu talking about the green light thingy? If so it just tells yu yur headlights are turned on. I leave mine running on all the time, but if yu turn yur headlights off they should turn off as well.
And
The a/c is always on when yu have the climate control on auto. But yu can turn it off. No sensor. It just kicks on when yur climate control need to be at temp.
No worries
Hopefully this helps..
