So basically we just got hit with 13inch of snow this morning and when I was getting ready for work, my wipers didn't work. Well it worked by the passenger wiper works perfectly but my driver wiper would only go up for a bit and would then tangle with the passenger wiper. When I try to untangle it i notice it was lose. Any idea what could it be? I'm pulling it in my garage tomorrow morning to check it out.

frozen, defective, or dead wiper motor? try replacing it? or try parking it inside and let it dry out

If one wiper works but the other doesn't, it probably just needs to be repositioned and tightened down. This happen to me with the passenger blade not moving. The arm is spring loaded and if the bolt comes loose the wiper will not work.

Came apart under the cowl. You need to remove the rubber from above the firewall, remove the cowl and see is you can just snap the arm back into the linkage coming from the windsheild wiped motor. It most likely came off from under there directly in the center of the car, that's where the linkage connects for the drivers side wiper.

At least that's what happened to me last week....

thanks guy it was loose had to use a lock wrench to tighten it down hope it stays lol.
