Brake light problem
Okay I got a new 99 es300, had it for a Lil over three weeks, drives pretty nice. Although when I start it in the cold mornings the e brake light comes on. When I proceed and drive it goes off but randomly comes on....ne help would b appreciated thanks...

Check the brake fluid level. Most Toyota's, when the brake fluid gets low, the e-brake light comes on as a warning. Also, low brake fluid can also be an indicator of thew brake pads being low, as the more worn out the brade pads get, the more fluid is needed in the caliper.

I did my brake pads/rotors a few months ago. Then in the winter the warning started coming up randomly once every 2-3 weeks. The seal around the caliper piston let go and i needed a new caliper, so it may or may not be that as well [assuming 'old brakes']

Yes -- check your fluid level - and the condition of the front and rear pad linings. You want to replace the pads prior to them damaging the rotors -- if the rotors are still within spec and can be reused.
If the pads look full you should have the system checked for leaks

Brake light problem still occurring talked to mechanic, he said probably needed rotors and brakes he replaced those and light still comes on.... now is more frequent. Also checked brake fluid levels and they are good. Any others ideas on why this can b happening???

Only 2 things can cause that light to come on: low brake fluid, or the e-brake is on. Both have switches on them to monitor the condition. Could be one is out of adjustment or faulty. My guess would be the switch on the brake master cylinder. Maybe try unplugging it and temporarily put a jumper across the terminals in the harness, see of the problem goes away.
