I have a 96 es300 that starts and drives for about 10 mins and the starts to stutter and sometimes dies. Once it dies it starts and runs for about 2-5 sec then dies again. The check engine light shows code P1300 igntier circuit #1. I have replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor, and the igniter. Did not fix the problem. It has cool over plug wast spark ignition system. The coils are on the front of engine. The coils are working fine and sparking just fine.

I had exactly the same symptoms, including the P1300 code, with my 94 Camry V6. It was caused by a bad coil connector (third coil on front bank), part # 90980-11246, $5.00 each.
