Default adjustable suspension control 97es300

soon i will be changing suspension in my car, and i hear when you change the suspension you need to be careful of a sensor or something for the stock shock control? would like to know what i need to be careful of doing once i take out the stock suspension and put aftermarket because i hear if you mess it up it will make lights on ur dash pop up.

I believe that you are concerned about the fact that your car does have the adjustable suspension option (which is an actual physical switch next to your shifter). You can basically ignore the sensor as it will no longer be adaptable to an aftermarket setup. It's an interesting pre-VSC feature that never really took off on the ES but was standard on the LS. Needless to say, if your car does not have this option there is no need to worry. PUT ON THAT NEW SUSPENSION!
