97 es3 fender question

i got my suspension installed but cant go lower due to rubbing. i need to get my fenders rolled but i heard it might cause dimples. anyone had any success with rolling fenders on the 97 es300?

I know the GSx00 guys just cut the lip, i'd do the same and get rid of that black trim piece around the wheel wells.
