Hate these threads....READ READ RESEARCH RESEARCH! Thats the KEY! Those 2 things.
1: An intake on your stock engine won;t do much.
2: A blow off valve? As said above, those are for boost. You don;t have a Turbo or a SC.

I agree with the rest of the guys on here. Mild performance gain, if anything makes your engine sound better, but does little for performance, also, and this is a big also, you might have issues with a CEL with the intake from Weapon-R. The Weapon-R has a design flaw, which in turn will cause a CEL, for engine running to lean. Trust me, I went thru this and all it gave me was headaches, so I went back to the stock intake system. No more CEL's. Lesson learned. And if you have a K&N air filter in your stock air box, just be careful not to over oil it, otherwise, CEL issues. The oil from the filter could contaminate the mass airflow sensor.

Lol I think that everyone here is assumming that everyone is working from the same knowledge base of cars. I know the blow off valve thing was silly.... at best. But hey who knows maybe he doesnt want a turbo but wants the noise that it makes... not really a bad thing makes you look silly when you dont have the engine to back it up but alot of folks are more bark than bite.

Fully kidding about the HP gain. Everything I've read is it's a waste with little to no gains in HP and only a change in the noise output if that's your thing (not mine). I've also read many reports of having CEL issues if it's not installed properly so I wouldn't even bother.
