Has anyone ever messed anything up from driving up and over a curb? I went over one in a dark parking lot the other day

hahaha, funny you ask...and youre from texas.

few years back i was visiting some friends in dallas. making a run to the convenient store i passed a pink 62 impala on like 28's or 30's. i decided to whip in for a closer look and did not see the big *** median between my side of the road and the other. after bouncing around the cabin like popcorn i soon realized i had just jumped a 6" concrete curb at about 15-20 mph. my car never skipped a beat, no pulling, shaking or anything noticeable so i kept driving. well, after returning home to br and driving a while, i noticed slack in the front right tire. if you put your foot against it and pushed, the tire would move 2-3" without moving the car at all. i had severely damaged the lower control arm bushings on the passenger side along with the lower ball joint. the car literally never pulled or acted out of alignment but the lower control arm was hanging on by a cross member only, the bushings were GONE.

basically, get under there and look. even if it feels ok, there may be damages. hopefully you get lucky and theres nothing wrong, these cars are tough but so are curbs.

I can't stop laughing at this one line, dude--LOL!!

Interestingly enough, while leaving work Tuesday night, I got too close to the edge of the curb [right turn], felt the back of the car shift, but thought it'll be ok...just gotta watch it nexTime. About a mile down the road car was leaning on one side and shaky. Yup, flat!! Swapped in the spare, got back on the road. Only major difference I noticed was the steering is much much more sensitive [at any speed] than before the tire change. Thursday got a new tire, retrunked the spare, and the steering sensitivity still remains. And the Tire technician did a wheel balance and stuff, and didn't report anything out of place on the Invoice.

Like Nine suggests, check it for yourself or even take it to a shop to be sure.

It doesn't look I damaged anything. No noise and car is running the same but I haven't lifited it up to check underneath. Is it pretty obvious underneath if u mess up something from hitting a curb?
