Wink Empty Spot In Driveway, So I Put Something There! New Ride..

I Found An Opportunity And Jumped At It. My Uncle Was Giving Me A Choice (He Owns A Dealer) That If I Helped Out At His Dealer, He Would Let Me Get A Car Off Of His Lot. So I Had A Long Debate, IS300 or Acura CL Type S? I Posted In The IS Forums.... Long Story Short, On March 26th I Picked Up My CL. So Here Are Some Long Due Pics;

Custom License Plates From Previous Owner..

Odometer That Reads Me 139k

Center Console, Type S Shifter With Sports Mode Option.

Rear Seats

Rear Seat Panels

Factory BOSE Speakers

View From Rear Seats

Type S Factory Wheels

3.2 Liter Engine V6 , came with factory Strut Brace.

Factory HIDs with high beam

Foglights (SUCK!)

I Own A 2001 ES300 with about 97K And I Truly Love That Car, Despite This Being A 3.2 260hp coupe, I Feel My Es300 May Be Faster. It Picks up speed, But Not Like My ES, And Sometimes The Way This Car Changes Gears Annoys me. Despite That I'm Going To Be Investing A lot For This Car. Lots And Lots Of parts. I Am Defiantly Not Leaving The Lexus Family By Selling My ES (In Other Words, I'm Keeping My ES). I like How I Get Offers For This Car Wherever I Go. Two Days Ago I was At My Friends Shop, And This Guy Came and Asked Me How Much I'd sell my Cl To Him For.

And the question begs to be asked, how is the transmission? Sorry not trying to ruin your fun, but those Acura's (CL, TL and some MDX's(?)) had huge problems with the tranny.

Yup I was going to buy a 2003 TL instead of my ES because it was newer but then that issue came up and I was all about reliability.

Lol Yeah I Was Aware Of The Tranny Issue's Acura Had..The CL Came With A Replaced Transmission From Acura In 2003, Amazingly I Got All The Maintenance Records And Papers. Even Better Was I Got Info On The Previous Owner Too, He Was A Professor At Some Prestigious University, Who Took Care Of This Car. He Was Also The Original Owner Since 2001.
Like I Said Before Though, Nothing compares To A Lexus!! If I had To Pick Which Car Is Better, My ES or CL, Hands Down, My Es, The CL cant compare to How Nice The Lexus is.

I am looking at cl's currently and have riven quite a few, if only the quality of them were as good as lexus'. They look great, great powerplant, and have really comfy seats haha. Congrats

I AGREE! The Front Seats Not Only Look Nice, But They Feel Comfy, And They're Heated!
One Thing I Would Recommend Is Seeing If The Transmission Had Been Rebuilt Or Replaced If You Are Considering Getting One.

I like. Look is nice and clean. But I'm sure with good upkeep it'll last well. Not sure if you're going to miss the ES, especially since you can FEEL the difference.

Thank You, But I Really Think Our ES' Are Overall Better.. Even The Stock Speakers And Amp On The Lexus Perform Way Better Than The Acura's BOSE Speakers.
