Here are some pictures of my 2001 ES300! I purchased it a few months ago with 93k miles on it. The car drives way better than my 2000 ES 300 which has almost 323K miles on it.
Just picked up a 2001 ES300 in absolutely wonderful shape. Well except for the wheels but I will fix that. It's got the 16 inch wheel and CID headlights. Needs new rotors and pads and they are on the way. Bad O2 as well. I'm a DIY mechanic and do all the work myself.
Does anyone like those particular wheels? I think they are about the ugliest Lexus put on any car. Has this car been in B.C. all its life? I almost bought an ES from a dealer in Vancouver even flew out there to get it. They jumped the car backwards and blew up a bunch of stuff so I never did buy it. Ended up finding a nicer one anyway but it was in Winnipeg, so yea I flew a lot to by an ES.

I don't mind the wheels but they have aluminum cancer bad. There are winter tires on those wheels, I've bought different ones to put the all seasons I got with it on. Don't think it's been off Vancouver Island much. Have the original owners manual and cards for the Victoria Lexus dealer. It's an old guy's car, I'm the 4th older guy that's had it. My retirement present to myself.
That car looks gorgeous, especially for being in BC for its whole life, not a lot of those left with arches still in place, quite impressive. The color is one of the best looking ones on those as well. As for the rims, while I can't say those are the best they ever made, I don't hate them either. They do suit the car, albeit being a bit flashier than you come to expect from Lexus, at least in my opinion. With that, I do believe that rims that later came with Avalon are the best looking on those cars. I am an owner of a Platinum Edition, and even though the badges are long since lost, the rims are still there.

I like both options, but the Platinum/Avalon wheels are definitely the best out of all the choices. I need to start taking better pictures of my cars, could barely find anything in my photos.
