Default ES300 Having problems Shifting

I was wondering if anyone would help me with a problem i am having with my Lexus. my Lexus tends to not **** properly SOMETIMES. When im on the freeway and im going 60 mph-65 mph, my RPM would be at about 3500-4000 and wont shift down. i dont know what the problem is because it will do that sometimes , and sometimes it will shift just fine like nothing is wrong. can anyone tell me what the problem is. ive had this problem for about 3 months and ive taken it to repair shops and they say my transmission is fine. i just got the catylatic converter fixed and it still seems to be having the same problem

Others have had this same issue, do a search on this ES forum. I cant remember what is causing this, has to do with the overdrive I believe. Your cars overdrive is off, I believe, and doesnt allow it drop into the next gear. People who have had this issue, also had a check engine light on. But do a search and you should find other peeps who had this issue and what the cause is. Sorry I cant help more. Good luck.
