Any one have any long term (more than 2 years) experience after having their OEM Lexus mags repainted professionally.

Mine are pitting, and some of the paint is flaking off. They are however straight. That's why I am asking.

I am not equipped to do it myself. Local places are asking between $80 to $125 Per Mag, so I am not even sure it's worth it.

Car is a 2001 ES300 with the OEM 16" mag wheels (not chrome)

His quote over the phone was $125.00/Mag. I am not equipped for a DIY, and even if I was, I would not have the patience for this type of job. So unless I can find someone that will do it for much cheaper, I think I'll drop the idea, and live with it.

 

Find some weekend/after work body shop jobber person?

It's not too hard, but the three-spokers can be a ***** to clean... let alone sand properly - which is why i haven't done it yet lol
